I have to hand it to people. Lots of people. How they can make friends, keep friends, remain best-friends-forever! for life to oh so many people and make more best-friends-forever! along the way.

I admit. I’m nearly friendless. I do not think I have myself to blame. Simply coz I’m not a I need so many friends person so I don’t blame myself for not having more friends.

I’ve been stereotyped as weirdo in a not so good way or manner so many times even by the ones who claimed to be good friends, I’m getting sick of what’s that word? Yes. A friend.

Anyway, that’s not the point.

So many times, there’ll be people running over, “hey I think you would click well with this certain xyz person.” I tell you, chances are 9.5 out for 10 times. FAIL.

For the longest time, I’ve haboured this hope that a certain person – friend of a friend – might juz be this 0.5 of a possible friend. See what happens? FAIL. I think I’ve come to a conclusion that people who are alike in many ways possible tend to treat the other party as a threat. It comes as naturally as a sneeze to a flu.

We’re juz afraid the other person might be better. Thus the worst enemies are also the most likely best of friends.

Jerry Seinfeld once said, he already has 3 friends he can’t handle more in his life. I agree wholeheartedly.
